FAQ

Why print on wood?

Because it is so much cooler than any other material you can print on.

Our well-seasoned staff operates printers that use safe, low-heat LED lamps to create Woodscape Prints. The printer produces remarkably rich colors that show up beautifully on wood.

No two Woodscape Prints are the same because the grains in the wood will vary from canvas to canvas. You are sure to have a truly unique work of art that you can display or gift proudly.

 

Will my Woodscape Print look exactly like my photo/image?

The wood will be bring out a warmer, earthier tone to your image. The unique grain pattern of your canvas will show through the lighter colors in your image.

 

Is the print durable?

Because of our professional printing process, our wood canvases are made to last. Inks are cured directly onto the surface of the canvas. Your print will be moisture-resistant (so feel free to display it in your bathroom and just wipe off any condensation). To increase longevity of the product, it is recommended to be used indoors only.

 

What type of wood is used?

We utilize sustainable birch plywood for our wood backs. This wood is farmed and not taken from our surrounding landscapes.

 

How thick is the wood you print on?

The wood canvas we create in-house is approximately ¾” thick. We have chosen beveled cuts for the back sides of each canvas, which gives the illusion of the print floating off the wall when hung.

 

How do I mount my print?

We have created a keyhole rig on the back, enabling you to easily slide your custom photo canvas onto a wall over a nail or screw placed in the wall. It is cleverly designed to accommodate both portrait and landscape orientation on rectangular prints. Wall mounting screws or nails are not included in the order.

 

Is there an easy way to arrange a collage collection on my wall?

Yes! We have developed a system that is super simple and requires no guessing on your part! Our collage collections come with a template that you can put up on your wall and it shows you exactly where you should put a nail for each piece.

 

How do I clean the canvas surface?

If you need to clean your print, a cloth dampened with water will do!

What are the best images to utilize?

Here at Woodscape Prints, we have found that using lighter-toned photos really catches the magic of printing on wood. The lighter the photo, the more the wood grain will be allowed to characterize your photo.

 

Which file types are accepted?

Please use a high resolution jpg, preferably 300 dpi or higher. Submitting your photo in a size the same dimensions or larger than the canvas you’d like to have printed on will result in good quality prints. Using a photo that is smaller will add pixilation and other undesired effects. Our uploader also accepts jpeg, png, and gif formats. If you don’t have your photo cropped to the size of your desired Woodscape canvas, don’t worry! You can easily do that on our website after you upload your image!

 

Which file types are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Paypal.

 

How do I use a promo/discount code?

On the checkout page, you will be prompted to enter your promo code. Promo codes cannot be applied after a purchase has been made, so please don’t forget!

How long will my order take to complete before shipping?

 5-7 days…unless you have a time machine. Time machine rules apply differently.

 

Do you offer rush processing?

At this time we are not able to offer rush processing. Expedited shipping may be available at checkout, though.

 

What are my shipping options?

We ship all orders with USPS.

 

How long does shipping take to a US address?

Standard Shipping takes approximately 3-5 business days. Priority Shipping takes approximately 2-3 business days. Please note that delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Standard shipping is only available for smaller orders.

 

Will I be able to track my order?

Once we ship out, you will receive an email notification. It will include a tracking number if it is being delivered within the US. Updates usually start within 24 hours of shipment.

 

Do you offer in-store pickup?

Yes! If you are located near our Fountain Valley, CA studio you can certainly pick up your prints to save on shipping costs and delivery time! Please refer to the Shipping and Processing page for more info.

Do you offer international shipping?

We ship worldwide- we wouldn’t want to leave anyone out! Please refer to the Shipping and Processing page for more info.

What happens if my print arrives damaged in mail?

In the rare case that this happens, we will get it fixed as soon as possible! Contact us here within 3 days of receiving your print. Please include clear photos showing the damage so that we may file a claim with USPS and replace your print.
